To complement the wine and showcase other fine prodce from the region you will also find a large array of regional produce, art, crafts, ice creamery and morning/afternoon teas.

The grounds have ample parking (coaches as well), BBQ, a safe childrens play area and a pet rest.

Gilgai Estate

Situated at 15233 Guyra Road in Gilgai this winery has relaunched itself with a brand new cellar door and is well worth calling in just to try the signature icon of their label “Bling” let alone the rest of their range.

In 1969 Gilgai Red Vineyards were established by Keith Whish, whose aim was to produce a good dry red, and a number of different varieties were planted. These also included white varieties for the production of white table wines.

What began as a hobby has grown into a small and interesting business which was sold to Alan Turvey in 2005. It is one of the highest wineries in Australia.
