With some of the most breath taking and picturesque scenery surrounding you its hard not to head out on one of Bingara’s famous trail rides. The rides cater for beginner to advanced riders with the standard ride being for two and a half glorious hours (rides can be tailored to suit group needs with enough advance notice).

Don’t worry it’s not all riding and a sore behind the experienced staff know, even though you are enjoying the ride, that a break and stretching your legs is required.

So they break the ride up with an experience most people can’t stop talking about when they return, you get the chance to swim with the horse in the Gwydir. One international guest raved “it was better than when I got to swim with the dolphins in Hawaii”.

Things you should know or bring.

As your safety is important you will be required to wear the helmet provided.

Wear long pants, sun screen and proper footwear (thongs etc are not suitable)

The staff know the horses so you can trust their judgement in assigning horses IF you have been honest in your riding abilities (there is nothing wrong with being a beginner)

Taking a small backpack with a towel, bathers or change of clothing and a bottle of water would also be advisable.
