Bingara

Known as the gem of New England, Bingara is nestled on the western edge of the New England tablelands. You will find this beautiful and friendly little town has so much to offer with the proud locals always quick with a g’day and more than happy to point you in the right direction.

From the tranquil beauty of reading a book by the river to white water rafting. From bird watching through to horse back riding. From travelling back in time looking at natural features (21 million years at Sawn rocks) to catching a movie at the Roxy it’s all here

But where is it ?

On the Gwydir river at the midway point of the tourist road the Fossickers Way.

Isn’t that out of my way

As it’s situated between the two major inland routes the Newell Hwy and the New England Hwy probably not and you get to avoid the estimated 10,000 cars and trucks using those other roads each day.

How far is it from........

Brisbane 485 km

Sydney 605 km

Coffs Harbour 340 km

Tamworth 150 km

Inverell 70 km

Narrabri 105 km

Moree 118 km
